Ten Killed in Bogoro Attack, Bauchi State!

No fewer than ten  persons were feared killed in Bar Arewa village in Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State when the village was attacked by yet unidentified men at about midnight Thursday.

The killings is coming just as Governor Isa Yuguda ordered the suspension of the Chairman of Bogoro Local Government Area, Mr Marcus Bitrus Lusa and the District Head, Alhaji Haruna Yakubu, village and hamlet heads in the area.

THISDAY investigations revealed that the attackers numbering between 800 and 1,000 stormed the village at about 12 midnight  on Thursday well armed with guns and machetes.

An eye witness who escaped from the scene of the incident told newsmen that   almost all the houses in Bar Arewa were set ablaze.

According to witness who asked not to be identified," some elderly people were burnt to death in their houses, and after  the killings and burning which lasted less than an hour, the attackers fled the village''.

Last week the villages of  Yola and Goskam Bom in Bogoro Local Government Area were also attacked by marauders, killing at least five people
