62Yrs Old Landlord Who Impregnated 12-Year-Old Deaf And Dumb Ïn Edo State Remanded In Oko Prison!

Justice will hopefully be served in Edo State as the 62 years old foolish landlord of No.4, Idahosa Street, off Omoredion Street, Evbotubu, a suburb of Benin City, has been remanded and is cool off his uncontrollable *John Thomson* at the Oko Prison. The case is billed to come up on June 21, 2011.

It was all shock and disbelief for residence of No.4, Idahosa Street, off Omoredion Street, Evbotubu, a suburb of Benin City, on hearing the news of an infidel act of an aged landlord who have been having sex with a minor who is a tenant in his house.

The victim (name withheld) is a 12 year-old primary four student of the Project Charilove School for the deaf and dumb was allegedly impregnated by the 62-year-old landlord of their house located at

Narrating her ordeal, the primary four student of Project Chailove, a school for the physically challenged operated by a non-governmental organization in Benin City, who spoke through a sign language interpreter, said that the landlord, Mr. Victor Idahosa had sex with her 11 times in his apartment.

"The man had sex with me 10 times in the day and once in the night, giving me N500 each time. I became pregnant six months ago," she said.

According to her, whenever the landlord knocks the door, her blind younger sister who could hear motions to her that there answer the door.

Corroborating the statement made by the victim, the mother of the teenager, Mrs. Sanyaolu who also confirmed that her daughter became pregnant six months ago, said that her findings revealed that her landlord was responsible for the pregnancy.

Mrs Sanyaolu said that the landlord initially admitted being responsible for the pregnancy when confronted, and promised to take care of all expenses of the pregnancy.

The mother of seven said things began to take a new dimension when the landlord suddenly changed his attitude towards the girl and threatened to issue her a quit notice in order to avoid the pregnancy.

Mrs. Sanyaolu who expressed shock and disappointment at the attitude of her landlord said that she had always regarded him as her father.

"I am a widow and the only person taking care of my seven children, and I take him as my own father. I expected him to see my children as his children. When he later denied responsibility for the pregnancy, I asked him if he could swear with local deity that he worships, and he could no longer talk."

When reached by newsmen for comment, Mr. Idahosa denied responsibility for the pregnancy, describing it as baseless. He said that his earlier position was taken under duress. He however said that he would accept the pregnancy if it could be medically proved otherwise.

It was learnt that the matter has already been reported at the Evbuotubu police division where investigation is on-going even as the Edo police image maker could not be reached for comment.
