5 Boys Gang Rape Female Student Of Abia State University And Abia State Govt Denies Rapists Are ABSU Students!

I have been too busy to write on this blog for some days now. Sorry guys.
This story makes me so sick, I just can't comprehend it.

A one hour rape video came out on Saturday of five boys taking turns on a girl. So devastating to watch!
The victim is( a female student) was gang raped by five boys in Abia State University (ABSU). This incident happened Tuesday August 16th , 2011. These boys raped this girl, recorded it, passed it the video round their friends, who then passed it round ABSU campus.
Guess what the poor girl's offence was? She allegedly insulted one of the boys...and that was it.
In the rape video, which lasts for over an hour, the girl cried her eyes out and tried to fight them off in the first few minutes, after a while they subdued her; by slapping her, rough handling her, threatening to kill her and having rough sex with her. After a while she gave in and instead of fighting, she started pleading, and after her pleas fell on deaf ears, she begged them to kill her that she couldn't take the pain anymore. These boys laughed at her, made fun of her and told her that if she didn't co-operate, they would keep her in the room and continue raping her for two days.
Please continue to read this horrid story ...

Then she starts mentioning names, saying 'What did I ever do to you', (they spoke in English and Igbo language) she mentioned at least two names.
And in between, you will hear her scream out in pain as one guy stands up and another penetrates her...and all the while, these boys are laughing.
In the video, you can clearly see the girl's face; the boys faces you really can't see clearly... but they talk a lot and one of them said he's a 4th year law student, another one said he's an IT student...names were mentioned...these boys can be fished out.
This girl is someone's daughter, someone's sister, someone's friend, and God's creation. You cannot do this to another human being and get away with it.
Only yesterday the Abia State Government said they've concluded their investigations::
Result - The boys in the video are not students of Abia State University. They called the VC of the school, the VC told them it didn't happen in the school, end of story!
*Oh my God* Are you surprised?
Well, I'm not surprised by this statement because the Nigeria I know, no institution wants to be associated with something like this...so I understand...but here's the problem; in fact two issues.
Firstly; One of the girls a friend of mine spoke with said "these boys are from my school. I said what school? She said ABSU. A lot of students there have different versions of this video. And one of them said to me, I don't believe these boys will be caught, we came out with this evidence because we want people outside of this region to know what happens 'sometimes' in these parts. Girls are gang raped and nobody is doing anything about it. Most of the time, the victims don't say anything, and when they do, people ask them 'Wetin you sef do the boys'? Like it's your fault you were raped."
Secondly: How can the school authority say without any reservations that these boys are not their students when their faces didn't even show in the video? Can you tell who your students are by their silhouettes and voices? If there's no Law faculty in Abia State University, then I apologize, maybe I was misinformed; but if there's a law faculty in this school, then I think the school needs to thoroughly investigate this, because one of the boys said he's a 400L student of Law and names were mentioned for God sake.
So far, it doesn't look like ABSU is interested in doing a proper investigation. The VC said there's nothing in the video that indicates it's ABSU and has asked Student Union President to issue a statement exonerating the school.
Please continue...
See, here's my point - if these boys' faces had been very clear in the video, and the school authority had taken still photographs from video and passed the photos round the campus to fish out these boys, and students in the school don't recognize any of them, then ABSU can say with all authority that these students are not from their school, but that's not the case here. So saying without any reservations that these boys aren't from their school holds no water.
Well, the State Government and ABSU have concluded their investigations...now it's the turn of the police...let's see what they come up with.

Below is the statement from Abia State Government:::::::
Alleged Rape Case
The Abia State Government has carried out an investigation on this matter and the truth is that, the alleged video never emanated from the university.
The victim and the perpetrators are not students of Abia State University. Those associating ABSU with such barbaric visor should please desist from such. The university is safe for academic activities as known for.

And here's a press release from Minister of Youth Development
Minister Condemns Rape of Young Nigerian Girl, Promises to Rehabilitate Her
The attention of the Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi has just been drawn to a despicable, immoral and depraved video of a young lady being raped by five men. The condemnable act allegedly took place at the Abia State University, Uturu.
In the video, the young woman was threatened, rough handled, and sexually exploited by the men, who are said to be cultists. To make matters worse, this despicable and wicked act was recorded and circulated by the alleged rapists, who blurred their own faces. This behavior has rightly caused
outrage among young Nigerians, parents and all those who have seen the video recording.
The Honourable Minister views the behavior of the perpetrators as decadent and barbaric; and believes the attitude of these men, if indeed they are young Nigerians, does not represent the character and nature of the Nigerian youth.
Mallam Abdullahi therefore calls on the University authorities and relevant security agencies to step up action to ensure that the heartless and wicked perpetrators are arrested and prosecuted. He has also promised to help rehabilitate the young victim if she would make herself available to the Ministry.
The Honourable Minister calls on Nigerian youths to remain focused and positive-minded, disclosing that his Ministry will soon begin to implement programmes that will address their concerns.

  15. Honestly speaking we have government that has no interest in the welfare of the people and the one surprising is that of an individual,a VC for that matter, whose responsibility is to protect lives under his authority hastily concluding that it was not ABSU, without carrying out expected investigation. Had it been his daughter, heads would have rolled.A VC of a university is supposed to play a fatherly/motherly role to every student in the university. However that was not the case in Nigeria majority of them left what supposed to be their concern and are pursuing what they will never get. Both the governor and the VC could have 1.asked for time to investigate. the issue 2. remain silent and 3. at worse, call a spade a spade. To those guys, as the Lord liveth Nemesis will catch up with them soonest in Jesus name....Poju

  16. These boys must be sons of bigshots who dared to release the video of their sin. Sometimes it seems appropriate the punishment in Arab countries- cut their hands and legs and don't allow them to die. I pray The Almighty for the victim.

  17. What do you expect from niggers?

  18. The boys are cursed with a curse.A horrible tempest, brimstone, fire and sulphur will surely invade their homes. They have kissed peace goodbye eternally.Females in their generations yet unborn will be torn apart by beasts.Fugitives and vagabonds will they procreate.Imbeciles shall reign supreme in their families. The spirit of madness and epilepsy will never depart from their homes. The bible says, "because vengeance is not speedily executed, the hearts of the sons of men are fully set in them to do evil".Should the wider public keep mute, these beasts will continually perpetrate evils as such.Wickedness proceeds from the wicked.I want to advise the girl never to go to the police or the so-called minister of youth development. They may be working in tandem with the parents of these beasts.God will surely heal her and make her whole. In a country where a former bank MD milked his bank of funds in the vicinity of 48 billion naira and the court of law could set him free without a charge, you need wisdom.Be careful,LADY!
