Could there be a possible pink bundle in Beyoncé and Jay-Z's future?

That may very well be the case as "Beyoncé is thrilled she's having a daughter!" a source close to the famous couple confides.

The source also adds that although Beyoncé and her rapper hubby would be happy to have a healthy child of either sex, the former Destiny's Child singer was secretly hoping for a baby girl due to her loving relationship with her mother.

"She and her mother are so close, and she's wanted to have that relationship with her own child." the source says.

As a fashion designer herself, Beyoncé is reportedly very eager to share her passion for clothing with a little mini-me. Apparently, the mama-to be is already breaking the bank at clothing stores ranging from OshKosh B'gosh to Louis Vuitton.

"Her family's afraid there won't be anything left to buy for her baby shower in December!" the source laughs.

Last week it was revealed Beyonce and Jay-Z have been hard at work making over their New York apartment, reportedly planning to install a huge 2200 square foot nursery ahead of their tiny new arrival in February.
