Contrary to the news making the round that national leader of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was down with stroke, his party has dismissed the rumour saying the former Lagos State governor is hale and hearty.
The Publicity Secretary of ACN, Lagos State chapter, Mr Joe Igbowke described the news of Tinubu's ill-health as figment of imagination of those that originated and peddle it.
He said;
"as I' m talking to you now, Asiwaju, is hale and hearty, there is no cause for alarm whatsoever. I wish to therefore, assure you that our able and agile leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will live long to fulfil all his wishes and dreams before the very eyes of all".
It will be recalled that apprehension grew at the weekend over the health condition of the ACN national leader who was said to have been rushed abroad for immediate medical treatment after suffering a stroke.
However, Vanguard gathered from a reliable source that Tinubu was not in the country presently, but would return to home very soon.
