Whitney Houston’s Ex-husband Bobby Brown Cries Uncontrollably On Stage Hours After Her Death

Just hours after being told that Whitney Houston had died, Bobby Brown managed to perform on stage in Mississippi, telling his ex-wife, 'I love you'.

Whitney was found dead in her hotel room in Beverly Hills last night at the age of 48, leaving behind 19 year old daughter Bobbi Kristina, who she had with Bobby during their turbulent 15 year marriage.

According to Daily Mirror:
Bobby was due to perform a concert with his band New Edition on Saturday evening and – following an emotional break down backstage – he decided to go ahead with the gig.

Unable to sing a number of the songs as he sobbed into the microphone, the audience helped Bobby with the words as he shouted tributes to his ex-wife.
Blowing kisses into the air, Bobby cried: "I would like to say, 'I love you, Whitney.'

"The hardest thing for me to do is to come on this stage."

And as he struggled to make it through ballad Tenderoni, Bobby walked off stage before the song had ended, with the show finishing shortly afterwards.
A member of Bobby's family has said that the singer is "beyond devastated" at the news. The source said: "He wanted to tell [the family] about it before it hit the news. He didn't want any of us to hear about it on television.

"He could hardly get the words out when he called me. He was sobbing, and by the end of the call, I was sobbing too. He's beside himself right now."

Whitney's death was last night confirmed by her publicist, leaving the entertainment industry and fans around the world in shock.
