Another Bomb Blast Rocks Jos On Easter Sunday Night, No Death Recorded

A timed bomb on Easter Sunday night struck a drinking joint in the Tudun Wada area of Jos, Plateau State, central Nigeria.
 
Tudun Wada is located in Jos North Local Government Area.
 
THEWILL correspondent in the city said few persons sustained minor injuries while several vehicles were damaged in the blast that occurred near Mado Road Junction at about 9.30pm Nigerian time.
 
The timed devise detonated at a drinking joint where commercial GSM calls are also made.
 
THEWILL gathered that the locally made bomb was wired to the wheels of a commercial motorcycle (Okada) and left near the joint by yet to be apprehended persons.
 
STF spokesman, Captain Mdahyelya Markus, confirmed to THEWILL that it was a timed Improvise Explosive Device. He also confirmed that no lives were lost adding that a few persons with minor wounds have been taken to a local clinic.
 
Security agents and personnel of the National Emergency Management Agency have moved to the scene.
