Court Of Appeal Reaffirms Death Penalty For Rev. King

A Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos has reaffirmed the death penalty passed on  Chukwuemeka Ezeugo a.k.a Rev. King, the General-Overseer of the Christian Praying Assembly.

Rev. King was convicted and sentenced to death by hanging for the alleged murder of a female member of his church, Ann Uzoh.

A Lagos High Court had earlier passed the death penalty on “Rev. King”.

The panel of judges said the lower court acted in the interest of justice by sentencing the preacher to death.
