Sad news reaching us now has it that the very popular Channels TV Head of Sports, Joe Ighile is dead .
Joe was said to have collapsed on set last night while presenting the 9'Oclock live sports programme. It happened that after Joe introduced the programme, he then told his crew that he was feeling uncomfortable and asked to take a break.
He stepped out of the studio for some fresh air and collapsed a few minutes later.
He was immediately rushed to the hospital where he later died. Joe Ighile joined Channels TV in 2003. He died at the age of 47. He's survived by a wife, two children and aged mother.
