Nigerian Pupils Break World Tooth-Brushing Record

Over 300,000 pupils from Lagos’s 600 public schools gathered at 326 different locations for one purpose: to brush their teeth.
In doing so, the students broke a record previously held by India, being the record for the most number of people simultaneously brushing their teeth for one minute.
The objective of the challenge  is to craft a sustainable Oral Health promotions project of global repute and impact.
The founder of HEIT Solutions, and the convener of the Tooth Brushing Challenge Project, Dr. Lawal Bakare, at exactly, 2.15pm, signalled the commencement of  the challenge at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, after he had certified that each of the participants has a tooth brush and toothpaste provided by Unilever Nigeria Limited, one of the event sponsors.
