OJB Jezreel's Kidney Transplant Successful, Discharged From Hospital

To God be the glory,  OJB Jezreel has been discharged from the Indian Hospital where he had been  admitted for a kidney transplant operation and he promises to be back to Nigeria soon.

John Dumelo‘s NGO, The John Dumelo Foundation in conjunction with Stormer’s Entertainment carried out another edition of Car Wash Divas 3 on Sunday 13th October 2013

The Car Wash Divas 3 which was organized to raise money to support the less privileged in the society, took place at the Cahaya Car Spa, Adjinganor, Ghana.

Ghanaian actor and a handful of sexy ladies washed all cars brought to the event. Former Nigerian beauty queen Munachi Abii, stylist Rekana Sharon Ojong and video content producer Uche Odoh were also at the event.

Popular Nollywood Script Writer, Chike Bryan Is Dying Of Kidney Failure

President of the Script Writers Guild, Mr. Chike Bryan is currently down with kidney related ailment and needs urgent support to stay alive.

Mr Bryan was initially admitted at Isolo General Hospital before he was  later  referred to Igando General Hospital, Lagos, where better machines for dialysis are available.

Driver’s Wife Gives Birth To Quadruplets In Lagos, Needs Urgent Help

A Lagos driver, Kehinde Tijani, and his wife Grace, were recently blessed with a set of quadruplets at Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, Idi-Araba, Lagos, on October 1. They already have three sons before the new additions.

Ironically, what should bring joy is gradually becoming a source of worry for this couple, as Kehinde, a driver and Grace, a small-time caterer, were already living from hand to mouth before the four extra mouths put them at crossroads.

The family presently resides in a tiny, rented one-room apartment at Ajangbandi in Okokomaiko, Lagos.

They expressed gratitude to God for the gift of children, but are saddened and fearful of an uncertain future occasioned by poverty and hardship.

Kehinde, who hails from OyoState, said they need financial assistance to take care of his wife and children.

He said: 

“I need help. I am a driver. I started driving someone last year and my monthly salary is so meager I can hardly feed three children not to talk of seven.

APPEAL: Popular Yoruba Actor, Pa Kasumu Battles Heart And Liver Diseases, Needs N12m For Treatments

Nollywood actor, Olukayode Odumosu popularly known as Pa Kasumu is struggling to stay alive at LUTH as he battles heart and liver diseases; “secondary prevention of repeat stroke,” after a previous stroke.  

The 60-year old actor says, 

“I have spent so much on these diseases. When it was first diagnosed, the doctors said the ailment was severe, that they would need to control its progression for it not to affect my kidneys. This they did, and I was happy they succeeded, but now, other serious ailments have set in, necessitating this battle of survival. I am not tired yet; I still want to continue to make people laugh, but my failing health is a terrible obstacle.”

He wants Nigerians, corporate organisations and the Government to help him stay alive because he can't pay for his treatment which will cost N12m.

Aliko Dangote To Build World’s Best 1000-Bed Capacity Hospital In Kano

Alhaji Aliko Dangote who happens to be the richest man in Africa is set to build the one of the world best hospital in Kano.
The Gigantic ultramodern medical structure which is a project of his Dangote Foundation promises to be the world's best 1000-bed capacity hospital. And will be constructed within the Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital in Kano.  It has been already been named Mariya Sanusi Dantata and will cost N2 billion to erect.

2face Idibia Presents N3 Million To Winners Of The '2Face Peace Awards'

Three winners emerged from the award ceremony which held on Saturday, Sept. 21 2013 (World Peace Day) at the Nicon Luxury Hotel Abuja. They received N1 million each to use in furthering the various peace causes they have been involved in.

The 2Face Peace Awards kicked off the Million Voices for Peace campaign being run by the 2Face Idibia Reachout Foundation. The winners were selected from a pool of young people aged between 18 to 35 whose initiatives helped in promoting peace in their areas for at least 18 months.

Very Sad: Boy Born Without Reproductive Organs

Since he was born on March 5, 2000,  13-year-old Uchenna Ekezie has lived with a genital deformity. He was born with what is described in medical parlance as maldeveloped external genitalia. In  lay terms, he has no  visible external male reproductive organs whatsoever. All he has to show is a rudimentary stump that is less than an inch long.

No thanks to this congenital abnormality, Uchenna can not urinate normally,. Worse still, his hopes of biologically fathering children in the future currently hang in the balance.

Although Uchenna, who hails from the Ejike Ezekie family of Umuariam Obowo LGA of ImoState,  has undergone series of major surgeries at the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia,  he requires a total of N4.5 million to undergo two more outstanding surgeries  to complete his restoration.

The first surgery is for correction of the continuous dripping of urine, while the second surgery is for elongation of the rudimentary stump.

It was gathered that in the attempt to to correct the birth defect, Uchenna suffered further damage in certain veins and arteries around his genital area.

Unfortunately the inmates were not allowed be photographed with the star actress who made a commitment to regularly visit and send items to them from henceforth.

Help Please! Fashion Designer Chuks Collins Is Suffering From Kidney Failure And Needs N8 Million

Sorry Guys, I had urgent issues to attend to that was why I was MIA for 24 hours.

One of Nigeria's top fashion designers, Chuks Collins of  KHOLYNS COUTURE is down with kidney problem. You can see some of his works HERE.

Chuks, who is only 29, had an accident sometime last year that wasn't properly treated. He injured his leg and head in the accident and unfortunately the tissues in his leg didn't heal properly which caused cellulitis. The cellulitis caused renal disease which affected his kidneys. Chuks has been going for dialysis since July this year. His doctors told him recently that the lifespan of the kidney functioning in his body is just two weeks. Chuks needs a kidney transplant ASAP and has decided to reach out to the public for help. He needs N8million. Please anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated.

70 elite sportsmen and women have stripped naked at Oxford University for the Blues Charity Naked Calendar 2014, their modesty kept intact only by strategically placed bats, balls, racquets, helmets and oars.

The calendar, which was photographed and produced by students, has already gone on sale and proceeds from the £10 cover price will be shared between two charities in the city including its food bank and two international education charities.

What Is Wrong In Tyler Perry Laying Hands On Bishop T.D Jakes?

In a viral video that appeared on the Internet over the weekend, Hollywood producer Tyler Perry is seen laying hands on Bishop T.D. Jakes during a worship service at The Potter's House in Dallas, Texas. Perry also donated $1 million to the youth center but some Christians have strongly criticised this event. 

After the service, a photo of the incident was posted on the T.D. Jakes Ministries Facebook page, with he captioned:

Innocent Ujah Idibia aka 2Face Idibia, is introducing the “2face Peace Awards” to promote peace and support young Nigerians involved in peace projects in their communities, where six winners would be selected for the awards.
