Lol, William Masvinhu Wins ''Mr Ugly Harare'' For The Second Time (PHOTOS)

Masvinu once again walked away with the title of the ugliest man in Harare on Friday night at the City Sports Bar, allafrica.com reports.
The competition which pits a group of ‘aesthetically challenged’ men against each other in a contest to win the title of ‘Mr Ugly Harare’ was first held in 2011 and although it received a lot of criticism at the time it has since gained more popularity.

Sonia Ike Appointed As New Miss Black Africa UK 2013 As Winner, Precious Okeke Is Disqualified

The organizers of the beauty pageant which took place about two weeks ago at the Royal Regency Hall in east London, have announced that their crowned queen, Precious Okeke has been disqualified due to pageant terms and conditions. While 19-year old Sonia Ike is now the reigning queen. Read the press statement issued to that effect below:

The Miss Black Africa UK finals took place on the 5th of October with the judging panel made up of Ini Edo, Adebayo Jones, Sporah Njau, Jenni Steele and Kunle Lawani. The Miss Black Africa pageant is the largest ethnic pageant in the UK, with over a thousand applications received in 2013. Miss Black Africa is also the current holder of the BEFFTA Best Beauty Pageant in the UK Award.

Miss Black Africa pageant director Dele Onabowu said " I am sure that the girls in question did not try to flout the rules.

Ini Edo-Ehiagwina To Be One Of The Judges Of The 2013 Miss Africa UK Pageant

The pretty actress will join the the panel of judges for this year's Miss Black Africa UK.
This year, 30 girls from different African countries will be competing for the 2013 crown. The Grand Finale takes place on the 5th of October 2013 at the Royal Regency Hall, London.

Sex Change: Beauty Queen Kicked Out Of Miss Universe Canada Pageant For Been Born A Boy (Photos)

A beauty pageant contestant has been thrown out from a beauty competition after discovering the girl was born a boy.

The Miss Universe Canada organizers threw out Jenna Talackova when they found out she had undergone surgery to become a woman.

The transgendered contestant had already successfully reached the finals in the Miss Vancouver pageant before she was banned from continuing in the competition.

Although the pageant organizers described Talackova as a 'real girl' they disqualified her arguing that the rules state that each contestant must be a 'naturally born female.'
