Researchers have finally come to the conclusion that lace front wigs are the leading cause of forehead cancer in African American women.

Nigerian Girl, Naomi Oni wept for joy after successful cosmetic surgery to recreate her eyebrows which were burnt off in the horrific assault.

It is the latest stage of treatment for the 21-year-old after she was doused in sulphuric acid last year leaving her temporarily blinded and suffering burns to her face, leg, arms and head.

13-Year-Old Make-Up Artist Dies After 6 Years Battle With Cancer

Talia Joy Castellano, a 13 year old girl who is a professional, YouTube Makeup Guru that charmed America and the world with her YouTube make-up tutorials and became an honorary face of CoverGirl (American cosmetics brand), has died following a 6-year battle with cancer.
A message posted on her Facebook page yesterday reads:

 Since the news broke dozens of fans and celebrities around the world have taken to Twitter to offer their condolences including Ellen DeGeneres, Miley Cyrus, Kendall Jenner and Justin Bieber.
May her soul RIP, Amen.

Miss Ebonyi And Miss Gombe Quit The 2013 Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria Competition (PHOTOS)

Reports reaching us says 2 of the 34 contestants for the 26th edition of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria competition, will no longer be participating in the competition, slated for  Saturday 20th July 2013 in Yenagoa, Bayelsa. 

According to Bella Naija; Miss Ebonyi 22 year old Ujunwa Amanda Onwudilo has decided not to go further in the competition, citing personal reasons, while Miss Gombe 23 year old Ifunanya Nledo was asked to leave for failing to meet with the stipulated requirements by the organizers (Silverbird Productions)....you can catch up with the other pretty contestants HERE.

Chief Mrs Grace Tinuke Oyelude..... Miss Nigeria 1957

Miss Nigeria started as a photo contest in 1957. Contestants posted photographs of themselves to the Daily Times headquarters in Lagos where finalists were shortlisted; those successful were invited to compete in the live final which at the time did not include a swimsuit competition at the Lagos Island Club. UAC employee Grace Oyelude won the maiden edition of Miss Nigeria, and would later use part of her £200 prize money to travel to England where she studied Nursing.

Contrary to popular belief, Julie Coker was not the first Miss Nigeria – she was Miss Western Nigeria but used the ‘Miss Nigeria’ title during official engagements abroad.

Beautiful 22 year old Akudo Ezinne Anyaoha emerged the winner of the 38th edition of the Miss Nigeria Pageant out of 20 other damsels contesting against her last night at the InterContinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. She is a Law graduate of Abia State University.
