Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Mrs Funmilayo Olayinka, has died of cancer in Lagos according to family sources.
Funmilayo Olayinka has been deputy governor since 16th October 2010. She was also a champion of women’s rights. She came to the Ekiti government house from the banking sector.
She leaves behind a husband and three children.
She was 52 years old.
