Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may be blissfully engaged — but they reportedly plan to protect their assets before walking down the aisle.
The insiders added that they are going ahead with the legal document not because Kardashian, who has been married twice before, and West think the marriage will fail, but simply because they are business people and "it’s just the smart thing to do."
Despite the prenup, according to the gossip site the two will allegedly still have a joint account.
Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian Monday with a 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz sparkler.
Kardashian is worth an estimated $40 million while West is worth around $100 million.
