Kim Kardashian is gearing up to her wedding to NBA beau Kris Humphries and several details about her wedding dress have emerged.
The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star has opted for a "timeless" design for the event that has been
tipped to make eclipse this year's Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton.
It has been reported in US OK! magazine that the 30-year-old has decided on an ivory gown by Vera Wang and is "being super hands-on" for the design of the dress.
A source has said that the reality star "wants it to be a little bit of high fashion, but also timeless, classic and classy. Her dress will be ivory, and most of the detailing will just be stitch-work or beading."
The insider claimed that Kim was still open to suggestions for the final design and is including her family opinions although, she has the final say.
They said: "She's making all the decisions so there's no room for any of us to screw up her big day. But she's being open-minded to what Vera Wang and her family has to say."
Kardashian has been seen with her sister Khloe and Kourtney at Vera Wang's stores, and she chose to try on "strapless bodices and different-shaped skirts, everything from slinky satin to fuller mermaid style to see what fit her best."
All the best to her and for the marriage.
