After months of silence,
‘Ile Ijo’ crooner, May D (real name – Mayokun Awodumila) has resurfaced and has addressed the rumours of his new record label. The talented singer who was formerly signed to Square Records has decided to take a stand and start working under his own management.
According to Hip Hop World Magazin: "May D, has floated his own record label. The artiste, who is known for his hit single, Ile Ijo, is to have started his label called “Confam Entertainment”.
He revealed this to us in a telephone interview and when asked if there is anybody else signed under the record label, he said “It’s just me now, I have some girl from UK but I’m still watching”.
The news story also went on to say that the singer is also set to release a video which was shot in Atlanta, to his song titled “Gat Me High” of his yet to be titled debut album.. Narrate the experience.
