''Why I Have Not Re-married'' - Governor Adams Oshiomhole

On why he is yet to remarry since he lost his wife, Clara Oshiomhole nee Akharagbon to breast cancer in 2010, the Comrade governor said:
I wish you would have avoided the question because really when I talk about my late wife, people may not understand why? You are in a position to judge whether to agree or disagree. When a man in my own case has the privilege of being elected as a state governor or president, your wife’s status changes automatically to the first lady of the state or the country with all the glamour that goes with it.

13-year-old stowaway boy, Daniel Oikhena went back to school  on  Monday, 16  September  after he was examined by doctors and a psychologist and was found to be sound. Seeing the boy  now is more difficult than seeing a governor. This is so because the state government had taken up the responsibility to ensure that he gets good education. Apart from the plain  clothes  security operatives that were observed around him, his teachers were always around  as if they were instructed to monitor him 24 hours.
When Daniel's mother,  Evelyn, was asked about the whereabouts of her son, she said:
“It is even difficult for me to see him some times because he is undergoing some training and that is being taken care of by the state government. I no longer have powers over him. It was even recently that I was able to see him.

They decided to allow me see him because they were preparing him to go back to school.
