Duchess Of Cambridge To Commence Royal Lessons On How To Be "Royal"

The Duchess of Cambridge is set to undergo a string of private briefings and lessons on how to be a royal, according to reports, in preparation for her official duties being stepped up next year.

It's thought royal officials – who have kept Kate's duties down to one per month until the end of the year – have arranged a series of one-to-one meetings with experts during the Autumn, to bring Kate up to speed before her royal work begins in earnest next year.

Reports suggest the former Miss Middleton will spend time learning about the arts, media and government, as well as 'getting to know our national institutions better.'

'The Duchess is being briefed on how the State works, getting to know our national institutions better and learning more about organisations such as the arts, the media and the government,' one royal insider revealed.

'It is a process that will carry on for several months but is being done privately.'

Reports suggest Kate – who is rumoured to be looking in to which charities she would like to support – has also being carrying out her own studies at home.

'As well as meetings at St James's Palace, the Duchess is spending time carrying out private research of her own,' the source revealed, adding Kate is still anxious to spend time in Anglesey with William.
'Like any recently-married couple, they attach huge importance to spending time together in the first few months of their married life.'
