Kardashian sisters Appeals To Armenians To Help Save The Life Of Their Cousin

The Kardashian sisters Kim, Khole and Kourtney are all appealing to the world to help save their cousin,  Cici who is desperately in need of a bone marrow donor to help save her life.
According to Kim who first launched the online campaign about a week ago:
This is difficult for me to write, but we really need your help. My cousin, Cici, has been battling cancer for 17 years. She’s been going through chemo for such a long time, but now the cancer is not responding to the chemo and she needs a bone marrow stem cell transplant. This necessary procedure would hopefully give our Cici many more years to live!

What makes this more difficult is that the donor must be of Armenian descent because Cici is Armenian. We are asking every Armenian who reads this message to reach out to the bone marrow registry and sign up so that we can find a match for Cici.
Donating bone marrow is actually not as scary as it sounds. Before Cici told me all about it, I thought it was this really intense procedure, but it’s really not. There are two ways to donate and your doctor will decide which is the best method for you. The PBSC donation is nonsurgical and is basically like giving blood. You can read about this procedure here. Then there’s the marrow donation procedure, which takes place in an operating room at a hospital where a general anesthesia or regional anesthesia is administered. You lay on your stomach and the doctor makes a tiny incision (less than a quarter of an inch) through the skin at the back of the pelvic bone then the doctor inserts a needle and draws out the marrow. There is absolutely no pain during the procedure and most people go home that same afternoon.
Please help our family’s plea by signing up and pray that we all can save Cici’s life!
Here is the link where you can register to be a donor as well as find out more information about the procedure.
Thank you guys!!! Please keep Cici in your prayers. Xo
Khloe latter started her own appeal 3 days later saying:

I just wanted to take a moment to thank those of you who signed up to register to be a donor for my cousin Cici. 1200 people signed up in just 24 hours and all we need is one match! Because of the amazing response we received, the largest international bone marrow registry has set up a link JUST for Cici — www.BeTheMatch.org/HelpCici. I want to cry I am so grateful. We have been praying for 17 years and God has been so great to us! I know she will find a donor!

I have never met any person in my life who lives life to the fullest every single day! That’s my cici! Always smiling :)
Kourtney only started her own few hours ago and this is what she wrote on her website:

Our family really needs your help. My cousin Cici recently found out that after 17 years of battling cancer, her body has stopped responding to the chemotherapy and she desperately needs a bone marrow stem cell transplant.

Because Cici is of Armenian descent she needs to receive bone marrow from an Armenian donor, which means the pool of options is a lot smaller and she’s having a difficult time finding a match. We are asking that any of you who are Armenian, have Armenian friends or extended family members consider signing up as a donor at the bone marrow registry, in hopes that we can find a match for Cici and give our beloved cousin many more years to live.
Cici explained the process to us, and it’s actually not as intense as you might think. One procedure, called PBSC, is nonsurgical and just like giving blood. You can be in and out of hospital in the same day and might even be able to save a life. We urge that you at least read more about the procedure and tell your Armenian friends of family.
Because Cici is 100% Armenian the need for an Armenian donor is the most important. She has aligned herself with the Armenian bone marrow donor bank and you can get more info here: www.abmdr.am
