Rumor has it that a 400 Level female student called Oyin, studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife gave birth to this baby (Pictured above) in the early hours of today...at Moremi Hostel toilet and attempted to flush the baby down the drain...she was allegedly caught by the Hostel cleaners.
It is been reported that one of the cleaners who heard a baby crying inside one of the toilet and also saw blood coming from under the door quickly went to call other cleaners around and they forced the door open.
When the cleaners entered the toilet they saw the student pouring water inside the closet, with the baby's head inside the closet.
The women immediately rescued the baby boy, who was already bleeding from the nose...but was still alive. The cleaners called school management who rushed both the girl and the baby to Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital for treatment.
