The United States President, Barack Obama will not be visiting Nigeria anytime soon, this was disclosed by the American Deputy National Security Advisor, Ben Rhodes.
According to the US official, the ongoing insecurity appeared to be responsible for the exclusion of Nigeria in Obama’s second upcoming three-nation trip to Africa.
Obama is scheduled to visit Senegal, Tanzania and South Africa.
Meanwhile, Nelson Mandela "opened his eyes" and smiled after being told of US President Obama's impending visit to South Africa.
Obama aides had suggested the US President was only hoping to meet the family of the anti-apartheid hero who is in a "critical" condition.
But now the American leader looks certain to see 94-year-old Mandela as he embarks on a tour to Africa this week.
why? *sobs*
