Murdered African Boy Whose Body Parts Were Found In A River In London 12-Years Ago Has Been Identified As 'Patrick Erhabor' From Benin-City
A murdered African boy whose torso was found in the River Thames in 2001 and whose identity has remained a mystery has been named by a key witness.
Former Glasgow resident Joyce Osagiede, who now lives in Nigeria, told BBC News the boy's name was Patrick Erhabor.

The Expulsion Of 28 Students From The Redeemer University For Failing Drug Tests, Stirs Up Controversy
The Redeemer University expelled 28 students last November for failing drug tests without revealing the content of the test result to the students affected and this has resulted in a very serious controversy. The university is owned by the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
The tests, were conducted in November 2012 for 42 students, who were asked to go for “routine tests”.
After resumption this year, some of them were told that they “tested positive” and last Friday, some of those who “tested positive” got expulsion letters; others got theirs on Monday.

Steven Kanumba's Death: Actress Lulu Released On Bail
After about 9 months in prison, finally BONGO Movie actress Elizabeth Michael Kimemeta, alias Lulu, on Tuesday last week breath a little air of freedom...because the case is still in court. The actress broke into tears at the High Court in Dar es Salaam when she was released on bail, thanking God "for making it happen".
"God is everything. I thank him very much for this development. I also thank all the people who have been supporting me all along," Lulu said amid sobs just few minutes after High Court Deputy Registrar Francis Kabwe verified her bail conditions set previously by Judge Zaiban Mruke.

Cancer Awareness Campaign In Style
Yesterday was World Cancer Day (February 4th), and some on-air and TV including such as Toke Makinwa of Rhythm FM and VHS, Yvonne “Vixen” Ekwere of E Weekly and Vixen Red Carpet, Shine of Cool FM and Tosyn Bucknor of Top Radio/3LiveChicks did their awareness of cervical cancer in a photographic fun and interesting style.
The photo shoot portrays photos with an emphasis on the colour green which represents cervical cancer.

Lagos State Government Sends 39 Street Beggars To Prison
Lagos State Government has arraigned 39 beggars at the Special Offences Court in Alausa, Ikeja for soliciting alms.
The suit against the beggars was a renewed drive in the war against begging in the state.
The government said the beggars constituted public nuisance, adding that it would no longer be business as usual as any beggar found on the streets of Lagos would be prosecuted.

The Cross River State Police Command has arrested a man, identified as Ekemini Bassey for allegedly killing his father, a retired University of Calabar lecturer, Prof. Nathaniel Bassey, to claim his N40m gratuity.
Ekemini’s brother, Odiong Bassey, is also wanted by the police for being an accomplice in the alleged murder.
