The beautiful Nollywood actress took to her twitter wall and wrote:
With a heavy heart I and my family are leaving Kano State...God knows best..It is well.
The sensational actress and her family have lived in Kano state all their lives. They have businesses there but had to relocate because of the gross insecurity/incessant loss of lives in the north, and especially after the multiple bomb blasts last week, which really came close to their home. As a result the actress and her family has kissed the Northern state of Nigeria goodbye!
In April 2011, it was reported that the building habouring Halima and her mother's bakery and restaurant, Godiya Confectioneries, was burned down during the riot that engulfed some parts of the north after the April 2011 elections.
And now they can't take it any more.
OMG.....sorry Halima Abubakar, its better u take dem to a safer place, may God protect them and us too
