Pippa Middleton and Alex Loudon split rumours 'completely untrue'

The 27-year-old royal wedding bridesmaid and her ex-cricketer boyfriend were thought to have split last week, with a friend saying: 'It is common knowledge in their close circle of friends that Pippa and Alex have recently split up.'

The pair have not been seen together in public since Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding on April 29, leading to speculation their one-year relationship was over.

A friend blamed Pippa's desire to spend some time overseas for the split, but said the couple had not ruled out reuniting at some point in the future.

After the supposed split Pippa had been photographed watching tennis with ex-boyfriend George Percy, and speculation the pair had rekindled their romance mounted after she was seen leaving his house at 2am.

But while Loudon had declined to comment on rumours of a split, a family member has now told The Mail On Sunday that Pippa and Alex are still together, saying: 'All the rumours are completely untrue.'

They also said the couple are expected to attend a family engagement together in a fortnight's time.
