House Of Representatives Suspends Farouk Lawan

The House of Representatives on Friday suspended Farouk Lawan as the Chairman of ad hoc committee that probed the fuel subsidy and the Chairman of the Committee of Education over the alleged $3million bribe from billionaire oil magnate Femi Otedola.

A new chairman, John Enoh (PDP, Obubra, Cross River) was appointed to replace Mr Lawan as the new Chairman of the fuel subsidy probe panel.
Also, the Management of National Assembly was ordered by the Speaker of the House of Representative, Aminu Tambuwal to investigate the embattled Secretary of the subsidy probe panel and staff of the National Assembly, Boniface Emenalo.
