Osama Bin Laden’s Son Bids For 2022 World Cup Stadiums Construction

OSAMA bin Laden's son could be in charge of some of the biggest construction contracts at the 2022 World Cup.

Omar bin Laden, the former al-Qaeda chief's fourth eldest child, is bidding to land multi-billion dollar deals at the controversial Qatari contest.
Omar, 31, who attended terrorist training camps as a youngster and was once seen as his father's heir, could pocket millions from football's most treasured tournament.
The Saudi-born businessman is bidding for a string of engineering contracts including an underground rail service between stadiums in the capital city Doha.
He said: "We want to be involved in the Doha Metro and other high-speed rail projects in Qatar, as well as hydraulics and water treatment plants.
"There is a limited timeframe for projects in Qatar. It’s all happening in the next 10 years, and we want to be involved as much as we can.
"We hope to be submitting proposals by the end of June."

Omar trained with al-Qaeda killers in his youth but turned his back on terrorism before September 11th.
And following the death of his father last year, Omar, speaking exclusively to The Sun in Qatar, said: "I loved him, he was my father."
He added: "I didn't agree with what he did - I only believe in peace - but that doesn't mean I couldn't love him as a father."
