Jennifer Lawrence's Dress Did Not Rip At The SAG Awards...Christian Dior

Many watching on TV thought actress Jennifer Lawrence ripped her gown as she lifted it up to make the trek up the stairs at the SAG Awards... and indeed, for a moment, a lighter, sheer navy could be seen flashing across her thighs.

Well your eyes saw something else...the dress was Christian Dior, honey, which means it was designed that way.

"The dress is made with different levels of tulle and satin and that is what the viewers saw when Jennifer lifted her dress slightly," the House of Dior said on Monday in a statement obtained by USA Today. "It was not ripped and there was no malfunction ... it was the design of the gown."

 
...I guess that means case closed!
