The suspects, who were arrested at Ode Opobiyi, Agbaji Ward in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, were taken away by security agents for further interrogation.
Meanwhile, the state's Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Chief Timothy Ibitoye, has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the election in the state, as well as the large turnout of voters.
He told NAN that INEC officials in the state had followed the guidelines and that it led to the success recorded.
Sen. Gbemisola Saraki, governorship candidate of Allied Congress of Nigeria (ACPN), said INEC had justified the confidence reposed in it by the electorate.
Saraki, who arrived at the Ode Opobiyi, Agbaji Ward around 11.50 a.m., commended voters for defying the scorching sun to cast their votes.
She urged security agents to be vigilant, adding that some politicians were making efforts to rig the election in favour of their candidates.
Dr Ahmad Alli, Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) candidate for the House of Representatives in Ilorin South/East Federal constituency, also commended the large turnout of voters and their peaceful conduct.
In Offa Local Government Area, that electorate conducted themselves in a peaceful manner, with heavy security presence, was noticed.
At Olofa polling booth, armed soldiers, navy, police, civil defence and immigration officers, were seen patrolling the town to ensure peaceful conduct of the election.
Meanwhile, 53 people were discovered to have engaged in double registration in a polling unit in Tahos in Riyon Local Government, Plateau.
NAN reports that the anomalies were discovered when voters came for accreditation at the centre.
The area's electoral officer, who declined to give his name, said that 915 people registered to vote at the unit.
At some polling booths in Riyom, Barkin Ladi and Kuru, many women were seen on the queues, but NAN also noticed many underage voters.
INEC Electoral Officer in Riyom, Mr Danjuma Madaki, said he had heard of the presence of underage voters, but told NAN that he had directed presiding officers to confiscate their voting cards.
