This, according to feelers reaching us, had once got him into trouble with one of his friends, Dare Babayemi, popularly known as Darry Babs, whose girlfriend Kukoyi slept with both here in Nigeria before paying for her air ticket to meet him in London when his fraud business was going on well for him.
It was gathered that when Dare Babs got wind of his friend's dalliance with his babe, he pretended as if nothing was wrong between him and Kukoyi. But he informed all their mutual friends about the shameless act of the credit card fraudster. Not only was Kukoyi sleeping with their girlfriends as well, he was also in the habit of running them down and tarnishing their image just to achieve his aim of satisfying his lust.
This infuriated their friends, who perhaps Kukoyi might have done a similar thing to at one point or another and a plan was hatched to teach him a lesson of his life.
Then it was a norm among the big boys to gather at different fun spots on Fridays, where they usually enjoyed their weekends with their girlfriends. They were all gathered at Excellence Hotel in Ogba and one of them placed a call to Ola Kukoyi to meet them at the hotel for their normal Thank God it's Friday session.
Not suspecting anything, he strolled into the hotel to enjoy himself and after the usual throwing of banters, he was confronted with the allegation. Ola Kukoyi then lured many promising youthful Nigerians who he trained in the crime because they wanted to live big like him, not knowing that he was a kingpin fraudster in London.
