A policeman shot and injured two persons at a fuel station in Auchi, on Friday, following an argument between the victims and the station's manager.
The victims, Kabiru Kasimu and Iliasu Kadiri, were shot on the leg and chest respectively. They were rushed to a private hospital in the area.
They said that Kadiri had complained to the manager that the quantity of the commodity sold to him was not up to what he paid for. He was, however, ignored.

When contacted on the incident, the Auchi Divisional Police Officer, Bolalanle Muritala, confirmed the story and appealed for calm.
Wittnesses said policemen usually provide security whenever the station sold kerosene.
