George Zimmerman To Face 2nd-Degree Murder Charges For Shooting 17-Year-Old Trayvon Martin

George Zimmerman, who allegedly shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin out of self-defense in Sanford, Fla., is in police custody and will face second-degree murder charges, the Associated Press reports. We are SO glad he will face justice in court.

This comes after the uproar that occurred after an attorney said the case would not be sent to a grand jury.

This is the first time in 44 days since Trayvon's murder that George Zimmerman, 28, is closer than ever to spending time behind bars.

What do you think? Are you happy to hear that George is facing criminal charges?
