Meet The 65-Year-Old University Professor Who Is A Cheap Prostitute At Night

A highly acclaimed University of Georgia German professor was arrested Thursday for prostituting himself for $60, authorities say.

  • Double life: Professor Reinhart teaches German literature and history at the University of Georgia, then at night he goes under the guise of Sasha
The cross-dressing University of Georgia professor was arrested after he offered his 'services' to an undercover officer in a hotel room while he was dressed as a woman called Sasha.
German professor Max Reinhart, 65, was arrested on Thursday in Gwinnett County, Atlanta, on charges of prostitution and keeping a house of prostitution.
He was dressed in drag and offered 30 minutes of his 'services' for just $60.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, police found an ad for a person called Sasha in the transsexual services section of the web site, backpage.com.
The website has an 'adult' section that includes 'escorts' and 'bodyrubs', and has faced scrutiny over accusations that it is used to traffic underage girls for prostitution.
Police spokesman Cpl Jake Smith said they arranged to meet 'Sasha' at the Days Inn and sent an undercover investigator to the room rented out.
After negotiating a fee, the officer subsequently arrested Reinhart, who today posted $4,800 bond.
He teaches German literature and history at the university, and in particular focuses on the work of 18th-century writer, poet and artist Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.
His primary areas of research are early modern Germany, and he founded The Conference Group for Interdisciplinary Early Modern German Studies.
Neither Reinhart or university officials were available for comment
