2 Suspicious Looking Men Arrested In Jos With Toy Guns

There was mild drama in Jos yesterday as two suspicious looking men were apprehended near the gate of the Jos main branch of First Bank Plc with toy guns.

Tension rose when people saw the two men driving round the premises of the bank in a Jeta Volkswagen car and alerted the policemen guarding the bank.

The police, our correspondent learnt, accosted the men who submitted to a search and two toy guns were discovered in their car. The men were later taken to the police area command for questioning.

Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Samuel Dabai, confirmed the incident, saying the two men did not attempt to rob the bank as it was being reported but were apprehended.
