ANOTHER bomb explosion suspected to have been planted by members of the Islamic Sect,Thursday
morning, rocked Maiduguri, the Borno state capital.
Although no life was lost in the attack, it was learnt that the incident took place at 9:15 am, in London Chiki area of the city.
Confirming the incident, the Joint Task Force , JTF, Spokesman, Lt. Colonel Hassan Mohammed told our correspondent that an Improvised Explosive Device, IED, targeted at a patrol vehicle team of the JTF, believed to have been planted by suspected members of the Boko Haram exploded in London Chiki area, but there was no casualty and no one has been arrested for the dastardly act.
Colonel Mohammed stated that the JTF is on top of the security situation in the state, and therefore appealed to members of the public not to panic, but to go about their normal businesses, as all effort are being put in place to restore normalcy, peace and order in the state.
