When Optima Media Group (OMG), producers of Nigerian Idol launched the third season of the talent search show on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 two prominent faces were absent – a judge Charly Boy and co-host Tiwa Savage and that no doubt resulted in a lot of speculations. Well it's been confirmed that Charly Boy will be returning as a judge on Nigerian Idol's Third Season. But there is a twist.
It might interest you to know that in this new season of the Nigerian Idol, he won't be returning as Charly Boy, but as his alter ego, Linda.
Linda will be a new woman who is presumably the second self of Area Fada and she is believed to be distinct from the Area Fada's normal or original personality. Seriously I can't wait to see this babe on the music talent show to be premier soon
However, season 2′s co-host Tiwa Savage, will not be returning in this 3rd Season.
Her reps have confirmed that the singer is just too busy working on developing her career fully and trying to wrap up work on her album which is expected to drop before the end of this year.
The rep however says Tiwa ‘thoroughly enjoyed her time on the show’.
