A Shelter For Somalia's Rape Victims: Fartuun Adan Inspiring Interview With CNN

Fartuun Adan is the  Executive Director of Elman Peace and Human Rights Centre, an NGO based in Somalia. The organisation she leads works in the areas of Human Rights, Peace Building, Development, Rehabilitation and Reintegration of Child Soldiers. 
As a champion for human rights Fartuun  co-founded“Sister Somalia” with Lisa Shannon, founder of “Run for Congo”. Sister Somalia is Somalia’s first rape crisis centre.
In this very inspiring interview, Fartuun Adan talks to CNN about the events that inspired her to help victims of sexual assault.
