and the Nigeria Security and
Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)
in the state, all of whom, he
said, had given the
assurance of their readiness
to provide adequate security
for the serving corps
members and the new ones
posted to the state.
"Onmy arrival in Bauchi
State, I held a meeting with
the security chiefs,
comprising the
commissioner of police, the
director of the SSS, the
commandant of the NSCDC,
among others and they had
assured us that the corps
members will be secured,"
Tzihe stated.
The NYSC boss enjoined the
623 corps members posted
to the state for the 2011
Batch "B" service year to be
rest assured of the safety
during and after the
orientation programme,
assuring that all necessary
measures had been taken to
ensure their safety.
"In fact,we have finished all
preparations to receive all
corps members posted to
the state for the Batch "B"
service year and the NYSC
Director-General has
promised to add more corps
members to Bauchi State,"
he said.
Tzihesaid the service was
yet to decide whether corps
