Nigerian Writer,Victor Ehikhamenor Reveals How Writing Love Letters Helped Him


Excuse Me! is the title of a new book that was launched last week in Lagos by Nigerian author and artist Victor Ehikhamenor.

In a recent interview with  BBC Africa's Kassim Kayira, Victor revealed how writing love letters helped him craft his skills.
Victor Ehikhamenor was born in Udomi-Uwessan, Edo State, Nigeria. He is an award winning visual artist, writer and photographer. He lives in Nigeria and the US. He draws influences from traditional African motifs and religious cosmology. He has held numerous solo art exhibitions. His poetry collection, Sordid Rituals was published in 2002.

Excuse Me is a collection of humorous essays and observations about life in Nigeria, past and present.
The writings are arranged into groups under sub-chapters with titles like The Scent of Pubescence and Viva Nigeriana!
