The 69-year-old singer blew away the audience at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday night as she celebrated her 40 year career in a special anniversary concert.
The award-winning singer made a dramatic entrance onto the stage wrapped up in waves of taffeta that sparkled with bedazzled silver stones.
Ross began her historical career in 1959 as a founding member of Motown band The Supremes, who had huge hits such as Where Did Our Love Go.
After suffering from anorexia and getting so thin that she even collapsed on stage during one show, Ross left the band and embarked on a solo career in 1970.

Diana's daughter, Tracee Ellis Ross, hosted the show
